3. PRACTICAL
Fly Me To The Moon
Choose a song from a provided list, understand its lyrics, and sketch initial ideas. Then, create a storyline, illustrate, and animate a 'moment' from the song to serve as the album cover. The design should include illustrated typography and consider foreground, mid-ground, and background.
The songs list is as below:
- Fly me to the moon
- The way you look tonight
- Come fly with me
- Girl from Ipanema
- New York, New York
Submission of non-animated cover on week 9
Animated the album cover on week 11
The IVN project criteria include a recommended art style (Art Deco, Minimalist, Retro, Pop Art, Art Nouveau), originality, technique, interpretation of the song into the illustration, storytelling, and requirements such as an initial storyline, ideas and sketches, illustration, and a final animation gif. The proposal should tell a story and show emotion, not just a character with a blank expression.

I was torn between making the whole scene twilight (orange) or night (blue), but I felt more comfortable with the latter.
