Lecture - Realism vs Surrealism

How to start poster design
  1. Sketch it out
  2. Find Reference Images


Tutorial - Moving Imagery

  • Use Illustration and Photoshop
  • Color scheme and Composision are important
  • Size 1080px by 1920px


Practical - Assignment Briefing

There was an online brief session for assignment 2

Project 2 (40%)
Timeframe: Week 9 - Week 11

Project 2: Double exposure (10%)
  • Exercise 1: Follow the tutorial
  • Exercise 2: My own version of Double Exposure Portrait
*Based on Week 7 Practical

Project 2B: Poster Design (30%)

Students are required to create an A1 size poster for the TISDC 2024 Poster Competition, under the theme of 'Equality' and the category of 'Visual Design'. The design should incorporate elements of photography, typography, and vector graphics

Students should consult their ideas before starting the poster development and update their Project 2B work in progress into the E-Portfolio.
