Lectures - Introduction to Composition

Mr. Fauzi explains: 
1. Introduction to basic composition
  • Focal Point it helps your viewers’ eyes naturally
  • Scale & Hierarchy drawing attention toward and away from certain elements: Big Scale > Medium Scale > Small Scale
  • Balance the Elementselement as having a ‘weight’
  • White Space - to balance up the main focus of a composition

Project 1

Utilize any items, such as printed materials from magazines or newspapers, to create a collage design on an A4 paper. And choose any elements.

Using cutouts from an old Japanese magazine, I attempted to create a collage. I collaged three different compositions.
